At Workybee Design Studio, every project is planned, researched, and executed with dedicated creative and strategic effort.

As our services involve time-based consulting, design thinking, planning, research, and custom creative work, the following refund and cancellation terms apply.

By engaging our services, you agree to this policy.


1. Advance Payments

All advance payments made for project initiation, consultation, strategy, design work, website development, retainers, or any custom service are non-refundable once the work has commenced.

This includes work related to:

  • discovery and requirement gathering
  • strategy and consultation
  • design concepts
  • wireframes
  • UX flows
  • content structuring
  • design systems
  • development setup
  • project planning

2. Cancellation Before Work Starts

If a client chooses to cancel the project before any work has started, a refund may be considered after deducting consultation time, planning effort, transaction charges, and administrative processing fees.

The final refundable amount, if any, will be communicated by Workybee Design Studio.


3. Cancellation After Work Starts

Once the project has begun, including strategy, design, wireframing, development, content structuring, or consultation, no refund shall be applicable for the completed or in-progress work.

Any work already delivered, reviewed, or partially approved will be considered billable.


4. Monthly Retainer Cancellation

For monthly retainer plans, either party may request cancellation by providing a minimum 15-day prior written notice.

The active billing cycle amount already invoiced or paid will remain non-refundable.

Services will continue until the end of the current billing cycle unless otherwise agreed in writing.


5. Delays from Client Side

If the project is delayed due to pending inputs, approvals, content, assets, or feedback from the client for more than 15 business days, the project may be placed on hold.

In such cases, no refund shall apply for completed work, and revised timelines or pricing may apply when the project is resumed.


6. Revisions & Scope Changes

Refunds are not applicable for revision rounds, design preference changes, or change-of-mind requests after work delivery.

Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may be billed separately.


7. Third-Party Costs

Any third-party costs paid on behalf of the client are non-refundable.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • hosting
  • domains
  • plugins
  • themes
  • stock images
  • fonts
  • tools
  • API services
  • Shopify apps
  • software licenses

8. Completed Deliverables

No refund shall be applicable once final files, website access, design assets, source files, or completed deliverables have been shared with the client.


9. Exceptional Cases

In exceptional situations, Workybee Design Studio may review refund requests at its sole discretion based on project stage, work completed, and communication history.

Any approved refund will be processed within 7–14 business days.


10. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation or refund requests must be communicated in writing through the official contact channels of Workybee Design Studio.

Verbal discussions or informal chat messages shall not be considered final cancellation requests unless acknowledged in writing.
